Who we are

We are driving change in regional education by empowering the Ovens Murray community to fulfil their potential through higher education. We are increasing access by providing highly connected learning communities in Wangaratta, Corryong and Mansfield to overcome barriers to success.

Why we are here

Regional and rural communities deserve quality opportunities to pursue their dreams without the need to relocate. Our mission is to provide regional people with the space and tools they need to create a vibrant and more prosperous future for themselves and their wider community.

What we do

We are dedicated learning and study sites in Wangaratta, Corryong and Mansfield designed for regional people by regional people. Students have free access to high-speed internet, modern technology and academic support, all delivered locally through CUC Ovens Murray. They also have the opportunity to connect with like-minded students and become part of a country-wide learning community.

Who we are here for

We support all people in the Ovens Murray region who are studying higher education through any university or non-university higher education provider. We also work with local businesses and organisations interested in engaging locally trained graduates and students, or hosting placements and work-based learning opportunities.

Where it all began

CUC Ovens Murray opened in 2022 as an affiliate of Country Universities Centre, with support from the Australian Government. In 2021, CUC Ovens Murray secured funding through the Regional University Study Hubs program to establish and grow its operations. We look forward to supporting local students throughout their learning journeys and playing an important role in the future of higher education across the Ovens Murray region.
